There was a time when nothing excited me more than variegated forms of weeds, and so we couldn’t resist getting this from Japan a couple of years ago. We received as a likely form of japonicum, but though we’ve grown japonicum before we can’t confirm. We can say that it has flowering stems to 30” with pale pink flowers, and having seen it flower can assure you that the reason to grow it lies in the fantastic marginal variegation on the foliage.
