A very clever form of a clumping, Japanese species that we brought into the country from the UK and formerly sold, but it’s been on hiatus here for a few years. Each leaf has a striking creamy white margin surrounding a grey-green center, and spikes of true blue flowers appear just as the foliage emerges in spring. This is much more petite than the non-variegated form, and a bit more finicky, too, with good drainage needed for winter, and a not too shaded position in summer. 6-8” x 10” Z5 Quart pot.
