Allium obliquum

Allium obliquum

$12.00

The lovely chartreuse onion is quite scarce and pricey, perhaps driven by demand from its high visibility placement on the High Line, and we’re riding those rails: while we’d prefer not to sell, we’ve been growing for awhile and have a few to spare to a hot market. It’s quite variable in height, between 2 and 3,’ with chartreuse flowers on sturdy, tapered stems in June (here). Drought tolerant and fertile, and makes an excellent cut. Since this plant is actively putting on root growth, we are offering flowering size bulbs potted individually, in quart pots. Z5
