We received this from Great Dixter some years ago as chaixii x olympicum, and it subsequently went on to win an AGM at the Verbascum trials. Dramatic, 6’ candelabras of yellow flowers a la olympicum, with the persistence of chaxii. Sterile, but easily propagated from root cuttings, which is useful as these large hybrids tend to exhaust themselves after 5 or so years. quart pot
