Some time ago we received a plants as a white flowered form of pole-evansii and were disappointed when it flowered closer to the usual creamy green. In an effort to get to a more white flowered version, we crossed comosa ‘Peace Candles’ onto a venerable pole-evansii with an extra large coma atop its infloresence. A lack of space to grow all the offspring to flowering size has us needing to part with some to make room. All are yet to flower, but these plants are third year from seed. Lucky dip. Should be slightly to considerably hardier than pole-evansii, but at very least will be at least Z7b, and an easy container plant in any zone. In cheap yankee fashion, we still want the pots they’re in, and will remove and wrap the rootballs for shipping (grown in 3 9/16th bandpots).
